Yes, Barney Miller is classic! I have only heard this beat sampled once a few years back by this underground kat named Ali Vegas from NY. It was looped well enough to let the original beat breathe a little, while Ali ripped a hot 16 over it.
If I come across that track, I'll send it your way...
I feel like dipset may have had their way with this at some point...
The theme to "Barney Miller" is one of the all-time classics. I was just listening to it in my car last week. Although I never heard it sampled, I do remember a rap song borrowing the beat from the theme to "Sanford and Son".
